“Knowing each other means understanding each other better, means working more precisely, means advising even more accurately.”

Ulrich Kortmann is a Certified Employment Law Specialist and works as a partner of the firm out of the Cologne office.

Analyzing his clients’ needs precisely and developing effective solutions together with them – that is what Ulrich Kortmann stands for. Since the beginning of his professional career, he has worked exclusively in the field of employment law and advises companies, primarily from the IT, logistics and healthcare sectors as well as the metal and electrical industries, but also employees, managing directors and board members. In addition, he advises crane houses at the interface with healthcare law.

One of Ulrich Kortmann’s main areas of practice is the support and structuring of complex restructurings and corporate acquisitions from the planning phase to implementation. His many years of experience enable him to identify the challenges of the respective project at an early stage and to develop suitable solutions together with his clients. He negotiates these with skill and tact with employee representatives – and consistently implements them in the interests of his clients. Companies also trust him with the design of IT projects with a special focus on employee data protection and company pension schemes.
